Last updated: April 18, 2026
1. Introduction
With Taste (“With Taste,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a brand operated by Solo House, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at withtaste (the “Site”), request access to one of our free guides or sheets, or subscribe to the With Taste newsletter (collectively, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Children Under 16
The Services are not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under the age of 16. If you are under 16, do not use or provide any information through the Services. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 16 without verified parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we may have any information from or about a child under 16, please contact us at jeremie@suite340.com.
3. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
Information you provide to us:
- Your email address when you request access to a guide, sign up for the newsletter, or contact us.
- The Google account email you use to view a sheet shared via OnlySheets (so the sheet can be granted to you).
- Any optional information you include in correspondence with us (e.g., name, message contents, support requests).
- Responses to surveys, polls, or feedback forms we may send.
Information collected automatically:
- Device and connection information, including IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, and approximate geolocation derived from your IP address.
- Usage information, including pages visited, referring/exit pages, dates and times of access, clickstream data, and links clicked in emails we send.
- Information collected through cookies, pixels, web beacons, and similar technologies (see Section 6).
Information from third parties:
- Engagement data from our email and analytics providers (e.g., open and click events).
- Fraud-prevention signals from our service providers (e.g., bot detection, email validation).
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver the guides, sheets, and other resources you request, including granting access via Google Drive through OnlySheets.
- Send the With Taste newsletter and related transactional or service messages.
- Confirm your subscription (double opt-in) and prevent fraudulent or automated signups.
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
- Operate, maintain, secure, monitor, and improve the Services.
- Personalize content, measure engagement, and understand how the Services are used.
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect our rights, property, or safety and that of others.
- For any other purpose disclosed at the time of collection or with your consent.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described below:
Service providers and subprocessors who perform services on our behalf, including:
- Beehiiv, Inc. — newsletter delivery, list management, and email analytics. Information you submit through With Taste forms is processed by Beehiiv subject to its Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
- OnlySheets (Better Sheets) — a Google Apps Script that grants and manages access to Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Drive folders we share with you.
- Google LLC — Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive) is used to host the underlying files. When access is granted to your Google account, your interactions with those files are subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting and analytics for the Site.
- Clay Technologies, Inc. — automation between forms, Beehiiv, and OnlySheets when used.
- Other vendors that help us operate the Services, such as fraud-prevention, error-monitoring, customer-support, and payment-processing providers (e.g., Stripe, if a paid product is offered).
Legal and safety: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to (i) comply with legal process, (ii) enforce our Terms of Service, (iii) protect the rights, property, or safety of With Taste, our users, or others, or (iv) detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.
Business transfers: If Solo House, LLC or With Taste is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or use of your personal information.
With your consent: We may share your information for any other purpose with your consent.
Aggregated or de-identified information: We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, prevent fraud, and measure engagement. Categories include:
- Strictly necessary — required to deliver the Site and core functionality (e.g., session, security, anti-bot).
- Analytics — help us understand traffic and usage (e.g., Vercel Analytics).
- Email engagement — pixels and tracked links in newsletters that record opens and clicks.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Services may not function properly. We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals because no common industry standard has been adopted.
7. Legal Bases (EEA / UK)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- Consent — for sending the newsletter and optional marketing emails. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Performance of a contract — to deliver guides and resources you request.
- Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve the Services, prevent fraud, and understand usage, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable law.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know or access the personal information we have collected about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Request portability of your personal information in a machine-readable format.
- Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information or targeted advertising (we do not sell personal information for money, and we do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising).
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at jeremie@suite340.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. Unsubscribing will end marketing emails but may not delete your underlying account information.
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the rights described in Section 8, and the following additional disclosures apply.
Categories of personal information collected in the past 12 months: identifiers (e.g., name, email, IP address, device identifiers); internet or other electronic network activity (e.g., browsing and email engagement); commercial information (e.g., guides requested); geolocation data (approximate, derived from IP); and inferences drawn from the foregoing.
Sources: directly from you, automatically through your interactions with the Services, and from our service providers and subprocessors.
Business purposes: as described in Section 4.
Disclosure: we disclose the categories above to service providers and subprocessors listed in Section 5 for the business purposes described in Section 4.
“Sale” or “sharing”: we do not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
Sensitive personal information: we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require offering you a right to limit such use under the CPRA.
Shine the Light: California Civil Code § 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, contact us at jeremie@suite340.com.
10. Other U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy of, and opt out of certain processing of personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at jeremie@suite340.com. You may appeal a denied request by replying to our response.
11. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe and request deletion or until we determine the data is no longer needed. Aggregated or de-identified data may be retained indefinitely.
12. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers are located in the United States and other countries. If you are accessing the Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions whose data protection laws may differ from those of your country. By using the Services, you consent to such transfer.
14. Third-Party Links and Services
The Services may contain links to third-party websites, products, or services (including restaurants, booking platforms, and other resources featured in our guides). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of every third-party site you visit.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Site or by email. Your continued use of the Services after the updated Privacy Policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
